Sometimes things come clean after your first pass. Sometimes it does't come clean after your 5th pass. For this master bathroom the soot that had settled after a fire put up a fight. If you look at the before picture even areas which look white are covered in soot when you test it which is important to consider when dealing with a fire on your own property. Even if it doesn't look like soot has settled on surfaces it very well may have which is one of the first things we test in our initial evaluation. 

Looking at the after photo you can see that the tub along with the faucet came clean pretty well. You can also see that the tile grout and drywall staining persisted which in this case ultimately led to their tear out and replacement. When you are dealing with an entire house with soot contamination every victory like this tub reduces the overall turn around on a fire restoration process.
